P&G Recalls Two Varieties of Pringles Snacks

Procter & Gamble said Monday it has recalled two types of its Pringles snack products due to concerns for potential Salmonella exposure.

The Cincinnati-based consumer products company said its Cheeseburger and "Taco Night" brands of the snack are being recalled. P&G said there have been no reports of illnesses.

P&G is the latest company to recall products with flavor-enhancing hydrolyzed vegetable protein made by Las Vegas-based Basic Food Flavors Inc.

Federal authorities say Salmonella was found on Basic Food's processing equipment
